“Dust on the Wires” is a Spaceport quest in ARC Raiders that rewards careful preparation and efficient movement. Begin at the Eastern Depot

The opening objective takes you to a Field Depot on the eastern side of Spaceport. Two depots can serve this purpose, but the southern one provides a convenient starting point because it reduces the distance to the next destination.

After reaching the depot, enter the structure and search for the highlighted yellow terminal or field radio. Interact with it to resend the fragmented scout party log to Shani. Once the interaction is complete, the first stage of the quest is finished.

Avoid spending too much time in the area after completing the objective. The mission requires progress through several locations, so maintaining momentum can help reduce exposure to unnecessary danger.

Find the Old Raider Tower

From the Field Depot, travel west toward the Maintenance Hangar. The next objective is located inside a small radar watchtower positioned just north of the hangar.

The tower is easy to recognize by its stairs and elevated structure. Climb up and locate the terminal sitting on the desk. Interacting with the terminal updates the quest and points you toward the investigation site.

Using recognizable landmarks can make navigation much easier. The Maintenance Hangar is especially useful as a central reference point, allowing you to understand where you are before continuing toward the southwest side of the area.

Follow the Road to the Wreckage

After activating the terminal, leave the tower and make your way toward the southwest side of the Maintenance Hangar. Following the main road provides a relatively direct route to the next objective.

The correct investigation location has several distinctive features. Watch for a destroyed vehicle, an explosive cart, and debris positioned beneath a blue tarp. These clues help distinguish the ambush site from other scattered wreckage around Spaceport.

When you arrive, approach the designated interaction point and transmit the location. This advances the quest and unlocks the final objective involving the Scout Patrol Note.

Search the Debris Carefully

The Scout Patrol Note can be found among the remains at the ambush site. Search the debris area thoroughly until the collection prompt becomes available.

Once the note has been collected, immediately place it into your Safe Pocket. This is one of the most important steps in the entire mission. If you are knocked down before extraction and the note is stored somewhere vulnerable, you risk losing the quest item and having to repeat part of the run.

Keeping the note protected also lets you concentrate on getting out rather than returning to the wreckage.

Make Extraction the Priority

With every objective completed, the final task is reaching an extraction point and leaving Spaceport safely. There is little benefit in taking unnecessary fights after securing the Scout Patrol Note. A successful extraction is required to finish the quest, so a cautious route can be more valuable than collecting additional loot.

Keep track of your surroundings while moving away from the investigation area. Conserving healing supplies and avoiding unnecessary detours can make the final portion of the run much smoother.

Collect the Final Reward

After extracting successfully, return the Scout Patrol Note to Shani to complete “Dust on the Wires.” The reward is the Fax Machine backpack attachment, which provides a tangible benefit for continuing your adventures in ARC Raiders.
